About the Course

Jazkarta's class at WHOI was one of the best technical classes we've had. Nate really tailored the class to our specific needs. He was able to work effectively with employees who had very varied levels of technical expertise, and whose specific interest in Plone was also different. From designers to sysadmins to data managers and editors, this class gave us all the jump start we needed to get to work on a Plone site.

With the introduction of Plone 3, there are now many new and improved ways of building and deploying Plone-based websites and web applications. From using buildout for deploying your site to utilizing the new viewlet engine for flexible page layout, this course will cover the latest technologies to get you up to speed and developing with Plone 3.

This course is intended for students with some Plone knowledge in administrating Plone or developing with Plone who now want to go the next level and employ best practice development techniques in Plone. This is a hands-on class and we will be working with the latest Plone 3.0 release.
