What they are saying about Plone Desktop:
Plone Desktop is going to be a big part of what helps Plone change the landscape of how nonprofits publish online. Can't wait to start integrating it into our project work!

Talk about a Sharepoint-killer (with WebDAV that works ;-)"

"Man I wish you'd released 2 weeks ago. I did a session at a local non-profit tech conference on 'Building Portals with Plone'. If I had been able to show this it would have been a completely different session. :-)"

I've been trying to sell my management on the usefulness of Plone Desktop for some time now. Given that we are a non-profit, this recent announcement just might tip the balance :-) On behalf of all our intranet users that hate working solely through the browser, THANK YOU!

This thing is too great for words. I mean, I'd seen demos of it. But nothing like having it for myself to install and use. Wow! WebDAV that works. Workflow in a context menu. Drag and drop multiple files of arbitrary types at once and watch it create the appropriate item type for each. Holy moly.
Yeah, I think you will accomplish your goal by granting free non-commercial use of PD. If I went away to private industry now, I'd feel like I'd pretty much have to buy this. I don't know if I'm could live without PD now. You just turned Plone into crack!
